Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this secluded 20.1-acre parcel in northeastern Penobscot County, Maine. Nestled in the woods of Winn, this off-grid property offers the perfect retreat for those searching for solitude but still want to stay within a reasonable distance of essential services.
LAND If you have been looking for a property that has not had a recent timber harvest this land features a mix of mature timber, including white pine, sugar maples, white cedars, and poplar and various other mixed woods. With a little clearing this west sloping property has the potential for views of the sun setting over distant hills and mountains. The elevations range from 380 FASL along the road frontage to 290 feet at the western boundary. The varied and rolling terrain has much to offer. Several springs on the property provide game with a water source and could be dug out to create a private pond.
It's an ideal spot for hunting, with opportunities for whitetail deer, black bear, moose, and upland birds like ruffed grouse and woodcock. The property also includes a comfortable hunting blind, an outhouse, and some prefabbed materials for a small garage.
LOCATION Located just 18 miles from Lincoln and 67 miles from Bangor, you’ll find yourself close enough to grocery stores, hospitals, and other amenities while enjoying the seclusion of your own private wilderness.
Accessed over a private gravel road, this parcel is off the grid, with no postal delivery and your GPS probably won’t get you here. However, it's well-connected to recreational opportunities, with Dwinal Pond Wildlife Management Areas 2,450 acres open for public access just 2 miles away. Jump on your ATV or snowmobile from the property and be at the Dwinal Pond 4 Season clubhouse just 2.2 miles away. You can also enjoy fishing and paddling on the nearby Penobscot and Mattawamkeag Rivers, or hit the slopes at Mt. Jefferson Ski Area, just 9 miles away.
This land is a true find for those seeking a peaceful, off-grid lifestyle at an unbeatable price. With its surveyed boundaries, privacy, and trail access, it’s a rare find in today’s market. Don’t wait-properties like this are in high demand and may not be available for long. Call today to schedule a visit and experience this woodland retreat for yourself.
Nice piece of land...no restrictions, easy access, and low taxes even out of tree growth.

Man we just got back to FL from a 10 day trip searching for land and we stayed right across the water there from Steaks N Stuff in Lincoln on Mattanawcook st! Shopped there a few times and had some fantastic clams and scallops from Charlies seafood market! Fantastic small town with everything you need for sure! Not quite enough land for my wants but in an AWESOME spot for sure so ill bet this one is gone fast! Also.... That tree joke made me laugh out loud an my coworker was intrigued so i showed him and he did as well. 🤣

@@kookietherapy9398 are the roads plowed or are you on your own was just wondering never been to northern maine
Roads may be plowed by other owners but it’s not a guarantee.
Usually with remote land that’s the catch, on your own. A lot of these properties are inaccessible during winter and sometimes early Fall. Especially with mud and dirt access roads.
HA HA! Great joke. 😂
loved the joke!
